Designed after one of Kandinsky's works, the aptly titled Colorful Ensemble is Lucid rug. Kandinsky believed that in order to recognise this abstract beauty, one needs to appreciate its distinct attributes of form and color. He was of the opinion that every color has its own story and mystery to tell. Carefully crafted with soft 100% wool, the Lucid rug effectively pushes the boundaries of weaving. Scattered with motifs and accompanied by pops of color, it has a pictorial, fun element to offer.
Our Kandinsky Collection is a renaissance of the artwork of Russian-born painter Wassily Kandinsky, acclaimed artist and pioneer in the pure abstraction and avant-garde art movements. As the artist once said that "Everything starts with a dot," so did this collection, which today has become a fully fledged series of 8 handmade rugs. The designs uphold the artist's commitment to the synesthesia of colour, sound, and spiritual expression in art. His works linked with the Cosmic world inspired many motifs for this collection. .

Can I create my own design?
Yes, absolutely. With our bespoke rug service, you can create any design from scratch! Whether it's an artwork you created, something you're inspired from or anything else you'd like to create on the rug, anything and everything is possible. As the whole process of making a rug is manual, it allows us to customise every single detail.
