Designed with reference to an artwork belonging to Georges Valmier is The Rocketeer rug. Different and odd shapes have been compiled together to form a cohesive figure of a spaceship, even effectively creating a sensation of movement. Made using 100% wool, The Rocketeer rug feels as good as it looks. An interesting color palette and inventive shape, paired with experienced craftsmanship are the hallmarks of this rug.

Valmier collection, inspired by the artworks of the french artist, costume designer and musician, Georges Valmier, pays tribute to the artist's use of bold colours and harmonising odd shapes. Valmier’s work encompassed cubist and abstraction movements and this collection tries to exemplify the artist’s belief that colour is the key element to creative expression. Vibrant colours and inventive shapes, combined with artisanal craftsmanship are the highlights of Valmier collection.

What's the lead time?

Most of our rugs are made-to-order, hence the following lead times apply:

5-7 weeks for Hand-tufted rugs

6-8 weeks for Hand-loom rugs

8-12 weeks for Hand-knotted rugs
