Exclusions from Warranty
At Ruggism, our rugs are meticulously crafted by hand, making each piece unique. While we stand by their quality, certain characteristics inherent to handmade rugs are not covered under our warranty. These include:
- Shedding: A natural process for new rugs, especially those with cut piles. Regular vacuuming will help reduce it over time.
- Sprouting or Pulls: Occasional loose threads are normal in handmade rugs. Simply trim them with scissors and vacuum.
- Color and Texture Variations: Slight changes may occur due to natural fibers and dyes or exposure to sunlight and humidity.
- Creases or Rolling Marks: These may appear during shipping but will flatten out with use and routine care.
- Matting or Crushing: High-traffic areas may show changes over time. Proper maintenance can minimize this.
- Odors: A mild scent is normal for new rugs and will dissipate when aired.
These are natural attributes of handmade rugs, reflecting their authenticity and craftsmanship. They do not affect the durability or beauty of the product. For questions or care advice, feel free to reach out to us.
Excluded Conditions:
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper cleaning, wet processes, shampoos or chemicals.
